"Managing infrastructure has always brought with it frustration, headaches and wasted time. That’s because IT professionals have to spend their days, nights and weekends dealing with problems that are disruptive to their applications and organization and manually tune their infrastructure. And, the challenges increase as the number of applications and reliance on infrastructure continues to grow. Luckily, there is a better way. HPE InfoSight is artificial intelligence (AI) that predicts and prevents problems across the infrastructure stack and ensures optimal performance and efficient resource use. "

"Principled Technologies executed four typical deployment and management scenarios using both HPE Synergy and Cisco UCS. They found that HPE Synergy saved 71.5 minutes and 86 steps, and used four fewer tools compared to Cisco UCS. In a hypothetical 200-node datacenter, that’s a total of 9 work weeks, or just over 2 months’ time savings on routine tasks."

"IT departments have to manage an infrastructure “duality” — the ability to deploy and manage two sets of applications, each with vastly diverse infrastructure requirements and service-level objectives. IDC found that by implementing next-generation apps on infrastructure designed for current-generation apps, such businesses risk putting their DX initiatives in jeopardy. HPE Synergy take key benefits of converged and hyperconverged infrastructure to the next level by operating on fluid (composable) compute, networking, and storage resource pools and are optimized for operations as well as applications. The Internet of Things (IoT) is composed of sensor-embedded devices and machines that exchange data with each other and the cloud through a secure network. Often referred to as “things” or “edge devices”, these intelligent machines connect to the internet either directly or through an IoT gateway, enabling them to send data to the cloud. Analyzing this data can reveal valuable insights about these objects and the business processes they’re part of, helping enterprises optimize their operations. Devices in IoT deployments can span nearly any industry or use case. Each one is equipped with sensors, processing power, connectivity, and software, enabling asset control and other remote interactions over the internet. Unlike traditional IT assets, these edge devices are resource-constrained (either by bandwidth, storage, or processing power) and are typically found outside of a data center, creating unique security and management considerations.

In an era of "lean IT," the centralized management capabilities of cloud-managed Wi-Fi make it an attractive option to manage and maintain wireless LANs (WLANs) across multiple locations. The decision to move WLAN management to the cloud requires one key assurance: end-to-end security from user devices to the cloud. This means that user data must be protected over the WAN and in the data center. These security measures should not require on-staff WLAN security expertise to manage. And security measures should be largely transparent to users. This paper provides an overview of the security architecture of Ruckus Cloud Wi-Fi, as well as best practices for specific security scenarios.

The hybrid cloud has been heralded as a promising IT operational model enabling enterprises to maintain security and control over the infrastructure on which their applications run. At the same time, it promises to maximize ROI from their local data center and leverage public cloud infrastructure for an occasional demand spike. Public clouds are relatively new in the IT landscape and their adoption has accelerated over the last few years with multiple vendors now offering solutions as well as improved on-ramps for workloads to ease the adoption of a hybrid cloud model. With these advances and the ability to choose between a local data center and multiple public cloud offerings, one fundamental question must still be answered: What, when and where to run workloads to assure performance while maximizing efficiency? In this whitepaper, we explore some of the players in Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and hybrid cloud, the challenges surrounding effective implementation, and how to iden

Organizations are adopting cloud computing to accelerate service delivery. Some try to deliver cloud economies of scale in their private data centers with the mantra “automate everything,” a philosophy often simpler in theory than practice. Others have opted to leverage public cloud resources for the added benefit of the pay-as-you-go model, but are finding it difficult to keep costs in check. Regardless of approach, cloud technology poses the same challenge IT has faced for decades: how to assure application performance while minimizing costs.

Data centers have become the epicenters of the digital world, and thus continue to grow in speed, complexity, and importance. Whether an efficiently-run data center is a means to deliver a service, e.g an Internet Content Provider (ICP), or if the data center is the primary business, e.g. a multi-tenant data center (MTDC) - testing is a critical element in meeting customer SLAs and/ or internal performance objectives.

When call center agents don’t have access to an EMR, consumer demographic, sociological and other data, nor an understanding of marketing campaigns, agents are inefficient, reactive and unable to personalize interactions with patients and consumers. The disjointed call center experience harms the health system’s ability to find, guide, and keep patients for life. The call center is often the first touch for many prospective healthcare customers, and Scripps Health recognized these challenges. They made the pivot from call center as cost center to strategic lynch pin in their patient experience strategy. Call center agents are now delivering a world-class patient experience as they provide physician referrals, take class registrations, and serve as a clearing house for general information . An added bonus of the shift is they can now integrate outbound calling into campaign efforts, and measure the full impact of marketing efforts and strengthen marketing’s ROI. Get your free copy of

Cloud has evolved from a technological innovation to an integral part of business. Companies in every industry are investing in Digital Transformation initiatives to evolve and grow; often, cloudbased platforms are foundational elements of these transformations, as businesses increasingly seek the flexibility and agility to roll out new software services in days or weeks, versus months or years. As Digital Transformation initiatives unfold, one key challenge is to modernize the data center to facilitate rapid delivery of new applications and services—while still ensuring that existing missioncritical applications remain high performing, available, and secure. Another challenge relates to new requirements for accelerating the analysis of organizational data to near real time, much faster than previously possible with earlier incarnations of Business Intelligence (BI). Agile businesses are demanding faster access to the information contained within operational and business data stores to

Customers are more technically savvy than ever and have come to prefer the DIY approach to solving their issues and answering their own questions. Years of research by ICMI has confirmed that customers prefer to resolve issues themselves and within their channels of choice. Furthermore, customers only seek direct interactions when they unsuccessfully exhaust their self-service options. This is backed up by data from American Express, which found that 48% of consumers prefer to speak with a customer service rep when dealing with complex issues, but only 16% prefer the same contact for simple issues. The goal of this paper is simple: We want to help you build an all-in-one knowledge base, community, and customer portal. All of which can be accomplished with a help center like Zendesk Guide.

HCAHPS is the barometer for understanding a patient’s hospital experience. But can you predict the outcome of your patient satisfaction surveys by reading online reviews from past and present patients? And more importantly, does improving your hospital’s online reputation improve HCAHPS scores? Yes. Reputation.com’s Data Science team, led by Brad Null, Ph.D, analyzed two years of HCAHPS hospital survey data from The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, across more than 4,800 hospitals. The team reviewed the data alongside online reviews, ratings and rankings for those same hospitals, and made some significant discoveries: • Online reviews provide early warning of issues that may impact patient experience, giving hospitals the opportunity to identify and address those issues before patient satisfaction scores suffer. • By continually monitoring, managing, requesting and responding to patient reviews, a healthcare organization can address negative feedback that impacts HCAHPS resu
